Successful Presentation: REES 2017 - Research on Engineering Education Symposium (Los Andes University, Colombia)
I am glad to share with you that the paper titled "Applied Mathematics: An Innovative Course in Applied Mathematics and Science for an Undergraduate Curriculum in Computer Disciplines", was successfully presented at REES 2017 - Research on Engineering Education Symposium. Symposium which took place at Los Andes University, Colombia, attracting more than 20 countries from all around the world.
Here I share some pictures of the event, where I met amazing people who constantly work on enhancing education in our disciplines.
Note: The paper is in a preprint state, and will be available through SCOPUS in further months.
I want to publicly congratulate my students Andrés Felipe Cruz Rodríguez and Sebastián Ospina Gómez, for a successful and very well conducted thsis defense. This presentation was done on June 5, and resulted to be nominated for Mention of Honor.

2016 was an amazing year for me, and I am really glad of everything that happened, the classes I taught and the conferences in which I participated.
For this new beggining, I gladly prepared a video of my two thesis students, showing the amazing presentation they did for the very first sustentation of the project GALILEO. I am really proud of them, of their work, and of how they have grown with this amazing project.

The work titled "RoBlock - Web App for Programming Learning" was succesfuly published by the Internal Journal of Emerging Technologies in Learning (IJET) on December 8th of 2016. This paper shows the results obtained after the first iteration of RoBlock as instructional technology, impulsing programming and algorithmic learning in secondary and elementary schools. I hope you enjoy it!

The project titled "RoBlock: Programming Learning with Mobile Robotics" was successfuly presented at ITiCSE 2016, being very well received by the assisting audience (Over 50 countries). Great experience and feedback!!!
